i have an insane migraine right now. it not only hurts, but feels like my brain is burning. i guess the pain isn't the worst i've had since i can still sit at the computer, but the burning is weird and scary. i'm trying to just ride it out and keep my mind off it while the medicine starts working. it can take up to an hour and a half =[

well this weekend was prolly the best ever in a long time. saturday night i went to Minh's house to enjoy some incredibly delicious crawfish and coronas. then we hung out for a while and i got to stay at his house for the night since i was drinking and tired and kinda just crashed. this i woke up this morning, before noon for the first time in months. and we spent the whole day together, shopping and walking/driving around, and watching movies. the next time it's nice outside and we have the time, i'm making him go to Lake Eola to ride the swan boats with me! we went down there today but there was a farmer's market going on and it was packed as fuck and we couldn't even park. so instead we went to the book store and looked at stuff in there for an hour or so. after that we went to Publix, blockbuster, and a Chinese place. what we ended up with was french bread, tofurkey, green apples, the movies Equilibrium and Imprint, and Chinese donuts.

so i've wanted a pet rat for some years now. my parents would never allow it, and i didn't wanna disrespect/piss them off by getting one anyway. well i talked to the mother unit a few days ago and she seems to be ok with it now. i asked if it could be my birthday gift. i really hope so! they're soooo cute and i'm in love with them.

tomorrow i have got to work on my lighting project or i'm not going to finish it. time to get productive!

the weekend was a good one. much more eventful that expected. i got my tattoo, as expected. just some script on my arm below my inner elbow. it reads, "don't lose your heart, you'll need it." i love it. it was so much faster and easier than my first one. cool beans.

i also did some shopping in this awesome oriental store in the mall. they had a crazy sale. i got a little dragon, a money frog, and some nice chop sticks, all for under 10 bucks! hell yes.

Minh and i went to shitty walk [city walk] saturday night to see My Bloody Valentine in 3D, but at first they wouldn't fucking let me in cos i'm only 20. i was royally pissed off. they had to "escort" me to the theatre, and then the movie was sold out. fucking lame!!!

sunday i bribed Minh with crawfish so he would stop working and let me come over, lol. we are fucking addicted man! it was fun though man, good weekend.

today i went to see a neurologist about my headaches. we reviewed my MRI and it was fine. the doctor told me i'm having frequent migraines, and gave me some medicine for it. i'm glad there were no REAL problems. however, i'm not thrilled about having to take stupid medicine everyday! i might only have to do it until May though. i hope, i hope.

is an idiot. but i still love him.

It was a pretty awesome weekend. It started early cos I didn't have to work Friday night. :] I chilled with Minh and he let me play around in Protools and it was actually kinda fun.

Saturday was freaking amazing. Halloween Horror Nights was pretty damn cool. We went into 7 of the 8 houses. My favorite was Interstellar Terror which was like being on a spacecraft that had brought back an evil alien artifact. They had some really cool illusions and lighting effects and stuff. The Hallow and Scary Tales were also pretty scary. They had the coolest scare zone EVER! "Asylum in Wonderland". There was an evil hare, people in black and white costumes on rollerblades, and other crazy characters from Wonderland. There was also a scare zone that was called The Path of The Wicked which had an evil scarecrow and tin man, and people literally flying through the air and swooping down right over your head. I loved it. Getting scared was great, but watching Minh get scared was even better! hah.

Sunday was kinda blah, I helped clean the back room of the house which was prolly the grossest thing ever. After a few hours of that, I went to Minh's house, cos I practically live over there.

Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment, then class, then work. Right now I don't feel like doing anything, but I need to do my lighting homework that I've put off all weekend. I have to read The Tempest. I really want to go look at halloween costumes and decorate my house. I don't want to go to work tonight.

Other than that, I expect some big changes soon. And hopefully after that life will start looking brighter again. It's amazing how much clarity can come from talking with a parent.

Well I'm awake, which said a lot. I actually slept 8 hours, which is amazing. Before about 3:30am this morning I hadn't slept in 31 hours. That really wasn't too bad. The part that killed me was hardly eating in those 30 hours. I'm starting to feel better.

So I'm kind of thinking that I want to learn another language. If I do though, I want put it to good use. I'm kind of thinking of going to school for it after I finish my A.S. for Live Show. I dunno though, that would be a lot more schooling to be had. Right now I'm thinking of either Chinese or Japanese. So I'm going to look at programs that Valencia offers for stuff like that, and try to figure out how to get UPS to pay for that, haha.

Minh and I hung out Saturday, and we were bored, so we randomly rode to Cocoa beach on his bike, haha! We didn't stay that long. It was at night. It was really cool though. And I want a freaking bike! They are so much heavier than I thought though. He let me sit on his bike and kind of go back and forth on it, and that shit was heavy!!! I think I would get used to it though. I need to learn how to shift. Aaaaand, yeah. I really have no idea when I'd be able to afford a bike, and I kind of think that my father would murder me before I even had a chance to ride on  it. We shall see what happens though.

I want to dye my hair black again, I think I'm going to do it this Saturday. I've been meaning to for a while now.

My lighting class was soooo awesome yesterday! We had a lab where we had to recreate the lighting in this music video, and it was Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek! The lighting in that video is so amazing, if you haven't seen it you need to. We used only 8 lights, 3 gobo's, and a fog and haze machine. It ended up coming out pretty well, even though we weren't able to recreate it exactly.

Sunday: slept until about 5:30 pm. I know, I'm a bum, I don't care. Finally got up, fucked around the house for a bit, then went to Congo River for some free mini golf with Minh. It was fun, but alas, he beat me. :[ Even though he had 7 strokes on one hole. Go figure. Anyways, I'm so glad I don't work there anymore. The new ppl working there seemed so lame. I wonder if I looked as bored as they did when I worked there. The place was dead so we didn't have to wait at all. After that we went to Broadway for some yummy pizza and came home to watch a movie. It was a fun day. HOWEVER, I was sad that I didn't get to see Holly as I had planned. Hopefully we can have a makeup day. :]

By the way, I think I'm in love with his new motorcycle. And I think I might want one of my own, wahahaha! Maybe this will pass, but I dunno, and I don't care!

And I think that's it. Tomorrow I have class and then I'm working in the shop for however long I feel. I hate being on Scenic, but I'd way rather do that than construction right now. Hopefully we will start painting soon!

Good morning everyone.

This weekend was a rather good one, for the most part. There were a few shitty moments though.

Friday: went to Minh's house, chilled and helped him start work on these sound absorption panels for his walls. Went to work, did pick-off all night, didn't have to load, took the belt test and passed it 100% fuck yeah. So I get a raise and hopefully I don't have to load much anymore. We shall see.

Saturday: Chilled with Minho again, made a couple more panels, then went to the hookah lounge. I'll exclude the events that happened afterwards, cos they sucked and I don't wanna think about it. I do want to go to the doctor soon to check out my heart and my head though. Things are starting to worry me a bit.

Sunday: Bleh. Came home and passed out for a couple of hours. Finally got rid of my 4-day headache. Went to Red Lobster with the family. Had a serious talk, and I still don't feel like it got me anywhere.


I have class at 10am. I don't care for that at all.
